In the solar power generation segment, our short-term goal is currently to develop a 30 MW solar power plant in Sokoto State. The project is supported by the Federal Government's feed-in-tariff regime of the Electricity Regulatory Commission where the power generated will be evacuated onto the national power grid.
Status: The project is slated for completion and commissioning in 2026.
Nigeria is a country endowed with abundant renewable energy potential and is an emerging market in Power Generation. It is the largest Energy market in Africa with a population of about 170 million people.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has recently privatized the generation and distribution segments of power supply in the country. This privatization is supported by a feed-in Tariff, creating a favorable environment for independent power producers like Strata-Tech.
Currently, Solar, wind, Hydro, Biomass, etc are in abundance all year round in Nigeria and largely untapped.
